Jake Handoo knows what it means to serve — and he knows what it means to come home and need a solid foundation to build from. As a USMC veteran, systems engineer, and Project Manager at NIWC Atlantic, Jake has spent his career solving complex problems with precision and purpose.

Armed with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in IT Management, he brings a rare combination of technical depth and business acumen to everything he touches. OAKE Hands Realty is where that same energy gets pointed at something personal: creating real communities where veterans and hardworking people can actually afford to live well.

Jake didn't start this company to flip properties and move on. He acquires underperforming multifamily communities, rolls up his sleeves, and transforms them into places people are proud to call home — fully renovated units, on-site laundry, fitness centers, and yes, pickleball courts.
